If you want to find your purpose, help other people find theirs
I asked myself what I would ask someone who’s looking for their purpose —
What drives you the most? What excites you the most (in this moment)?
- meditation, buddhism, the belief that “you” are not determined, that there isn’t anything that’s “fixed”
- dancing, singing, living one’s fullest potential
- connection with nature and with other people
- art and creativity
What cracks your heart open?
- children without food or shelter
- children who don’t have the means to live the lives they want
- people in prison who didn’t commit bad crimes, but are being punished because of the system
- child or teen who was born into a household or family that traumatized them
- individuals suffering from low income
What are you good at? What are your skills? What can you bring?
- motivating and inspiring people
- coaching, offering perspective
- meditation and yoga
- spirituality
- FUN, energetic and also serious
Use that, do that and you have your purpose.
